WOW! I stumbled across this video, and I LOVE IT!! Because it speaks the truth about Jesus and religion. A monologue by a young man, who knows what he is talking about.
This is my true stance on RELIGION and it is what I stand by and I stand by the truth about JESUS!! This is NOT about personal interpretation, as many people who believes that religion is one that brings you closer to God, which I know that is not true, as I almost died because of that lie. Religion did not bring me to God, it was JESUS and it has always been JESUS, a name that is above all name, WHO is the CHRIST!
Religion is humans trying to work their way to God. Christianity is God coming to men and women through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
He is more than a man, He is the MESSIAH, The Son of the Living God, WHO IS GOD IN THE FLESH!! Do you know HIM? Jesus is Who He says He is and more! I WILL PROFESS HIM, I WILL DECLARE HIM, AND I WILL NEVER DENY HIM!! JESUS IS LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS, HE IS MY SAVIOR! And I was bought with a price, when Jesus died for my sins. This took an act of God, Who created us, Who empty out His glory, to walk among men.
All I know, is that I embrace the Kingdom of God like a little child. So why do most people make it complicated and hard for a little child to believe and embrace the Kingdom of God? I was like a little child who did not understand religion. All I knew is that I had a real relationship with God, when I was 4 years old til I was 13 years old and then I was lead astray when I started to use drugs and I was living it up, as if God was not real. I was separated from God for 18 years. But, it was Jesus all along, Who was calling me to come home.
The Little Children and Jesus
People were bringing little children to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, He was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

My life has spiraled out of control from a life that left me empty, dead inside, and I was truly broken. I was not good enough to be with God, and I knew it. That's when Jesus rescued me from myself, and that's when I found out WHO HE really was. I had that relationship with Jesus, from the time I was 4 years old til I went astray. Jesus showed me things beyond my wildest dreams. Jesus never left me, nor has He ever forsaken me.
I was the one that walked away from God's grace through Jesus, my heart grew cold, because of all that I was going through. But it was His grace through Jesus that saved me in May of 1992.
In my true brokenness, I discovered Who Christ really is.
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. ~Psalms 34:18
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ~Jeremiah 29:11
I really don't care if this does not make sense to you, because of others trying to figure out God, and want to make sense in who He is. Well guess what? You will never know, if your heart is not open to Him through Jesus. Jesus is the only one that can make your path straight, and He is the only one that can save you from yourself and your sins.
You cannot get to God, without Jesus. Jesus said, that if you deny Him before men, then He will deny you before His father. It is true and it is written. Jesus said, that He and the Father are one, when you see Him, you see the Father. He said it, I believe it! AMEN!
