To my brothers and sisters in Christ,

I got this message below, written in red from Facebook, and I thought it was that important to share within the body of Christ.

Too many people get hurt, because of lies, deception and hypocrisy within the body of Christ.

I will be the first to admit that I know that I have hurt my brothers and sisters in Christ in the past.  If anyone believes that I did something to them unjustly, please write to me and tell me what I did.  I want to be accountable.  I do not believe that we are to be so friendly towards each other, if we have hurt each other, without being accountable for what we have done.

Ignoring the problems will not make the problem go away.  Why do you think that scriptures talks about accountability?   Please read below about accountability and understand why it's important.  

Being "Real" in Christ, meaning that you can be transparent and opened.  No more denials and sticking your head in the sand!  Be real, as Jesus was real.  I know that everyone does not need to know about your personal business.  But, what about those that are hiding behind the tube or in front of the camera and you only see what they want you to see.  But if you do something that offends God, should you not be accountable for it?   

What would Jesus do?  He is the true example.

ACCOUNTABILITY !! 'WE NEED EACH OTHER' ! 'ARE WE AN OPEN BOOK?"
Accountability means answering to someone ! It is literally giving account of yourself , where you have been, what you are doing , what are your motives ! Serious ! We all need it ! Accountability means others have freedom to ask for an account of your conduct. Most of us do not like to be accountable to others because it puts some restrictions on us. It also forces us to open up dark corners of our lives that we prefer to hide ! We may hide things from others but not from the Lord. 


We are members of the same Body of Christ ! Ephesians 5:21 ' Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.'With holy reverence to God who knows everything about you and me we should not wear masks or live a double life.  We need to be genuine and transparent -open and honest and be willing to be held accountable for our lives as we seek to serve Jesus ! 


Real accountability keeps us real and on the right path.This helps us to pursue godliness because we know we are not alone and have the help of others ! Accountability is not comfortable, but it is 
necessary! We all need real fellowship with godly mature 
Christians. Real 'face to face' fellowship. Left all alone with no accountability can cause any of us to fall way, compromise and lose ability to discern and fall into sin or deception.Ecc.4:9-12 Tells us that 'two people are better than one' and if 'one falls his friend can help him up. 'Rom.12:5 'So we,being many,are one body in Christ , and every one members one of another.'Thank the Lord for face book friends we share with via the Internet and for real close friends we can fellowship 'face to face.'
